He has been practicing since September 1982 and is preparing to celebrate his 44th anniversary in the legal profession in 2026. After serving as General Counsel to a group of public and private companies providing investment advisory, asset management, and trust services, Arensberg Law Offices, P.A. was established in January 1990. Attorney Mark Arensberg has served as a reading mentor with Lead to Read, working directly with children to strengthen reading skills and encourage long-term engagement with education. He has also contributed to Reach Out and Read and previously participated in the One-to-One Challenge.
Mark's philanthropic work spans multiple areas. He has supported youth-focused initiatives, including the Girl Scouts, as well as programs that encourage growth and opportunity for young people. His contributions also extend to educational institutions, including the University of Kansas Endowment, the University of Kansas Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, and local school foundations, helping strengthen academic programs and student resources.
Arensberg has also been involved with health and social service organizations, supporting efforts led by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the AdventHealth Foundation. In addition, he provides pro bono legal services to the Gracious Promise Foundation, assisting individuals transitioning from incarceration. Personal Interests
Outside of Arensberg's professional and philanthropic commitments, he maintains an active lifestyle that includes snow skiing, boating, and cycling. He will soon celebrate his 46th wedding anniversary. After raising four children, he and his wife are now enjoying spending time with their nine grandchildren. He is also a dedicated dog owner and currently cares for two Golden and Labrador retriever mixes.
